Ask for Dex

Global work intelligence that reveals hidden potential and powers better talent decisions.

The problem

What hiring needs that the old papers do not give.

Ask for Dex is a portable professional capability certification platform designed to verify how people actually think, decide, adapt, and perform in realistic professional situations.

Its assessment model, Dynamic Entropy Exploration (DEX), examines performance under changing conditions rather than relying only on knowledge recall, self-description, or polished work products.

The certification structure progresses from Dex Ready and Dex Associate through Professional, Management, and Portfolio levels, with each level representing a different degree of responsibility, judgment, and decision complexity.

For individuals, the result is a portable, independently verifiable credential that can provide evidence of professional capability beyond what a resume, interview, portfolio, or AI-assisted application can demonstrate on its own.

For employers, Ask for Dex provides a common evidence layer for evaluating whether a candidate has demonstrated the level and type of capability a role requires, reducing dependence on subjective screening signals and repeated employer-specific testing.

The answer

What Ask for Dex does.

We write the test

For each path and each field of work, we write a test that asks about the work. Not classes you took. Not papers you wrote. The work.

We give you the certificate

You pass the test, you get the certificate. Your name is on it. The path and field are on it. The date is on it. It is yours.

We make it easy to check

Your certificate has a code. You share the code with anyone you want. They put the code in. They see if it is real and if it is current. Free. No account.

We keep it current

Every 12 months you take a new test to keep your certificate active. Not a fee. A new test. So what an employer sees today is true today, not two years ago.

Trust model

How the signal holds up

Assessed signal

Every credential reflects a completed assessed evaluation.

Outside-body review

Assessment is conducted by Ask for Dex, separate from any training provider.

Credential code verification

Holders share a unique code. Verifiers confirm status through the registry.

Renewal cycle

Each credential carries an expiry date, keeping the signal current.

Where it fits

A Dex certificate is not a degree. It does not replace your resume.

A degree What you studied at school.
A course completion A class you sat through.
A resume The story you tell about your work.
A job title The role you were placed in.
A Dex certificate What you can do at work right now, checked by a test.DEX
You keep the others. You add this one. They tell different parts of the same story.

Why you can trust it

What makes Ask for Dex reliable.

The test is about the work

The test is about the work

Not the school you went to. Not the country you trained in. Not the words on your resume. The work itself. Same test for the same path and field, no matter who you are.

The result is current

The result is current

Every certificate is active or not. Active means the holder took the test in the last 12 months and passed. Not active means it is older than that. What an employer sees today is what is true today.

The check is open

The check is open

Anyone with a code can check. No account. No fee. No email collected. No record kept of who checked. The certificate is the holder's. The check is the verifier's. We are not in the middle of either.

The certificate names what it is

The certificate names what it is

A certificate shows what you can do at the path and field you took the test in. It does not give you a license to practice in fields that need a license. We are clear about that on every page where it matters.
