Partner Programme

Prepare Candidates for DEX Certification

The DEX Partner Programme is for organizations that want to integrate DEX preparation into their training, curriculum, or workforce development programmes. Partners prepare candidates. Only Ask for Dex assesses and certifies.

What the Partner Programme Is

The DEX Partner Programme is a formal relationship between Ask for Dex and organizations that prepare individuals for DEX certification. Partners receive resources, guidance, and permission to reference DEX in their programmes, so candidates arrive at the assessment informed and ready.

This is not the Licensed DEX Services Provider programme, which is designed for organizations that employ DEX-certified practitioners in client-facing work. The Partner Programme is specifically for organizations whose purpose is candidate preparation.

Who the Programme Is For

Training Organizations

Private training providers, professional development firms, and corporate learning teams that deliver readiness programmes aligned to the DEX competency framework.

Educational Institutions

Colleges, universities, polytechnics, and continuing education divisions that wish to integrate DEX preparation into credit or non-credit programmes.

Workforce Development Agencies

Government agencies, industry associations, employment services, and not-for-profit organizations that fund or coordinate professional development for their populations.

What Partners Can Do

Approved partners may: prepare candidates for DEX certification using published competency frameworks and study materials. Reference DEX certification as an outcome pathway in programme descriptions and marketing. Use the DEX Partner Programme mark in accordance with brand guidelines. Co-market preparation programmes with acknowledgement of the partnership. Access candidate preparation resources, including competency maps and recommended study structures. List their organization in the DEX Partner Directory.

What Partners Cannot Do

Partners do not receive any authority over the certification process. Specifically, partners may not: assess candidates or issue any form of DEX credential, certificate, or result. Represent that completion of their programme guarantees certification. Use the DEX name, logo, or marks outside the scope of the partnership agreement. Imply that their programme is the only or required path to DEX certification. Sub-license partner status to any third party. Speak on behalf of Ask for Dex regarding standards, policies, or certification outcomes.

The line is clear: partners prepare. Ask for Dex assesses and certifies. No exceptions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does completing a partner's programme guarantee DEX certification?

No. Certification is earned by passing the DEX assessment. No programme, course, or preparation pathway guarantees a passing result. Partners may not represent otherwise.

Can a partner also be a Licensed DEX Services Provider?

Yes. The two programmes serve different purposes and are not mutually exclusive. An organization may prepare candidates through the Partner Programme and separately hold a Licensed Provider designation for its consulting or service delivery practice.

Is there a fee to become a partner?

The Partner Programme has an annual agreement. Contact the partnerships team for current terms.

Can we create our own DEX study materials?

Partners may develop supplementary preparation materials, provided they are consistent with published DEX competency frameworks and do not misrepresent assessment content. All materials must be reviewed by Ask for Dex before distribution.
