Dex for Business · About Ask for Dex

We built a capability standard, then made it checkable.

Ask for Dex exists to answer one question with evidence instead of assumption: can this organization actually do what it says it can do? Everything else — the pillars, the registry, the annual renewal — serves that one question.

01What we are

An evidence-led capability certification and verification system.

Not an HR product. Not a culture award. Not a training platform, a consulting diagnostic, or an employer-branding programme. Ask for Dex certifies whether an organization's capability is evidenced, fitted, placed, converted, developed, and governed — and publishes a record anyone can verify.

The discipline is deliberate. We say less than the market would let us, because a signal is only worth checking if its boundaries are real.

02Operating principles

The rules we hold ourselves to.

Evidence over assertion

If it cannot be evidenced, it is not certified. We assess systems, not sentiment.

Bounded claims

Every certification states its scope, period, and limits. We refuse claims we cannot defend.

Public verifiability

Anyone can check any credential, free and without login. The check holds us accountable too.

Context calibration

A governed standard, calibrated to real operating demands — never a generic template.

Perishability

Capability changes, so the signal renews every year. A permanent badge would be a weaker one.

Data dignity

Employee feedback is protected by minimum group sizes and anonymity. Patterns, never raw responses.

03How we hold the line

Governance is the product, not the disclaimer.

A certification body that cannot say no has nothing to certify. Our governance covers evidence review, claim control, verification integrity, and renewal — and it applies to us as much as to the organizations we assess.

Independent evidence review — decisions are reasoned and recorded.
Claim control — misuse pauses a claim under review.
Public registry integrity — status reflects the present, not the issue date.
Annual renewal — or the claim lapses, automatically.
04The boundary

What we will never claim.

We do not certify that a company will perform better, hire better, retain better, or earn more. We do not rank employers, and we are not a substitute for legal, regulatory, or professional due diligence. We certify a capability standard, for a stated scope and period — and we make it checkable. That is the whole claim, and we keep it that way on purpose.

05Work with us

Put your capability on the record.

Start with an assessment to see your evidence, or begin a certification review when you're ready to make the claim.
